By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Services.

2. Description of Services

BowWowMeow is a platform that connects pet owners ("Clients") with dog walkers, pet sitters, and other pet care service providers ("Providers"). Our Services include:

• Dog walking services
• Pet sitting and drop-in visits
• Overnight pet care
• Pet transportation
• Customized pet care services
• Community features including the Dog Park

3. User Accounts

To use certain features of our Services, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain and update your information as needed
• Keep your password secure and confidential
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent or harmful activities.

4. Client Responsibilities

As a Client using our Services, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information about your pets, including health conditions and behavioral issues
• Ensure your pets are up-to-date on vaccinations
• Provide necessary supplies (leash, food, medications, etc.)
• Maintain a safe environment for service delivery
• Pay for services in a timely manner
• Communicate any special instructions or concerns
• Treat Providers with respect and professionalism

5. Provider Responsibilities

As a Provider using our platform, you agree to:

• Pass and maintain a clean background check
• Provide services in a professional and caring manner
• Follow all instructions provided by Clients
• Arrive on time for scheduled appointments
• Communicate promptly about any issues or concerns
• Maintain appropriate insurance coverage as required
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
• Never leave a pet unattended in unsafe conditions

6. Payments and Fees

• Service fees are displayed before booking and are subject to change
• Payment is processed through our secure payment system
• Providers receive payment according to our payout schedule
• BowWowMeow charges a service fee for facilitating transactions
• Cancellation fees may apply as outlined in our cancellation policy
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis

7. Cancellation Policy

• More than 24 hours notice: Full refund
• 12-24 hours notice: 50% refund
• Less than 12 hours notice: No refund
• No-show: Full charge applies

Providers who cancel without adequate notice may be subject to account penalties.

8. Insurance and Liability

BowWowMeow maintains insurance coverage for services booked through our platform. However:

• Coverage is subject to policy terms and limitations
• Pre-existing conditions may not be covered
• Clients should maintain their own pet insurance
• BowWowMeow is not liable for injuries or damages resulting from inaccurate information provided by users

9. Prohibited Activities

You agree NOT to:

• Use the Services for any illegal purpose
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Provide false or misleading information
• Circumvent our payment system or avoid fees
• Solicit Providers or Clients outside the platform
• Upload harmful content or malware
• Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation
• Violate any intellectual property rights

10. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of our Services, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, and software, are owned by BowWowMeow or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

11. User Content

By posting content on our platform (photos, reviews, comments), you grant BowWowMeow a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, and distribute such content in connection with our Services. You represent that you own or have the right to share any content you post.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. BOWWOWMEOW DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

13. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BOWWOWMEOW SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless BowWowMeow and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Services or violation of these Terms.

15. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Services shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. You agree to waive your right to participate in class action lawsuits.

16. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

17. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes by posting a notice on our website or sending an email. Your continued use of the Services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

18. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
